A heartfelt series of fully illustrated stories for children. Each tale centers around the tail-less, inquisitive, adventurous Australian Shepherd named Flapjack (Flap for short). His astute observations are sometimes confounding, leading Flap to shrug, "I don't know why."
Hopefully, this triggers young readers (or those reading to them) to engage in helping our hero to sort out confusing issues -- whether it be adapting to:
- changing circumstances in his life, or
- facing a bully and dealing with a bruised self-esteem, or
- having to say goodbye to someone he loves.
