Lost in a vast forest, Flapjack must find his way through unfamiliar surroundings with curiosity, courage and his wonderfully adventurous spirit. Finding Where I Belong is a heartwarming story for children facing change, new circumstances, or simply wondering where they fit in.
The Collar of Courage
When Flapjack encounters the mean and intimidating Pit Bully, he must find the courage to face a challenge he would rather avoid. The Collar of Courage is an uplifting story for children dealing with bullying, self-esteem, and discovering their own inner strength.
Saying Goodbye
When Flapjack learns that his best friend, Fowler, is dying, he travels far to say goodbye and struggles with what it means to lose someone he loves. Saying Goodbye is a gentle, uplifting story for children navigating loss, grief, acceptance, and the difficult emotions that come with saying goodbye.

Daniel Cohen is a retired attorney, former park ranger and lifelong animal lover with a passion for nature and storytelling. The Adventures of Flapjack series was inspired by Flapjack, his real-life companion and muse.
